Pre-Shoot Checklist:
Prepare Your Home for Stunning Photos and Videos
Our goal is to showcase your home at its absolute best. Please review the checklist below and complete all steps that apply before the photographer arrives:
General Preparation:
Ensure the interior is ready for photography upon the photographer's arrival.
Photographers do not stage homes. Consult your agent for staging advice if needed.
All lights should be turned on, including overhead lights and lamps.
Interior Preparation:
Bedrooms: Make all beds and tidy up bedrooms.
Personal Items: Remove personal framed photos or items you don’t want visible from walls, shelves, and surfaces.
Counters: Clear off all kitchen, bathroom, and bar countertops.
Refrigerator: Remove magnets, calendars, photos, and notes.
Windows: Open curtains and adjust blinds to let in natural light.
Bathrooms:
Close toilet lids.
Remove personal items like toothbrushes, soaps, and washcloths.
Neatly arrange towels on towel racks.
During the Shoot:
Plan for the session to take 1-2 hours, depending on the property size and photo package.
All major furnished rooms, including bathrooms, will be photographed. Unfinished areas or closets will only be photographed if requested by your agent. These spaces are ideal for storing items removed for the shoot.
